Nick Creese, the principal of Lark & Creese has been accredited by the Tasmania Fire Service to carry out bushfire assessments for new building works. The implementation of the new bushfire standards at the end of 2012, AS 3959-2009, require an assessment by an accredited person for all new residential development in bushfire prone areas. This assessment will determine to which level of bushfire protection the new dwelling must be constructed, and what area must be provided surrounding the dwelling for bushfire protection.
